Submit a Letter to the Editor

The Lincoln Journal Star welcomes readers' comments. Letters to the editor must include the writer's name, address, email, and phone number. The editors may edit and condense letters; the suggested length limit is 200 words. Due to the volume of letters we receive, we can’t publish them all, though we do work hard to get as many in as possible. Particularly on issues that draw a lot of writer interest, we may get several letters making the same points. We will publish a representative sample, and we will publish letters from all sides of an issue. If your piece is chosen for publication, we will contact you via phone or email to verify it.
